I doubt that anyone taking thalidomide on a daily basis when in a foreign country. I know there are studies that pharmaceutical companies, which are derivatives of the drug to other drugs that seem to work pretty well, but do not use the name, thalidomide. Maybe you should send your questions to the FDA, because they control what is used and what not.
